THE MIRACLES CENTRE for Prosthesis and Care
THE MIRACLES CENTRE
At the end of the war, Bosnia-Herzegovina found itself amongst the top 5 countries to be plagued with landmines.
In 2000 MIRACLES UK launched an appeal to finance the construction of a prosthesis center. With the acquisition of a site near Mostar in 2004, work commenced on the MIRACLES CENTRE.
The centre officially opened its doors on the 1st of April 2009.
THE MIRACLES CENTRE is run by our Bosnian NGO, DIVITA-MIRACLES under the direction of Matthew Procter, with the help of Nihad Subasic, our Certified Prosthetist (CPO) and Elvira Dugalic.
